I’ve been so looking forward to making this cockerpoo cake. Vanilla sponge with vanilla Italian meringue buttercream and raspberry jam filling.
The dog, which is modelled on the birthday lady’s own dog, called Charlie, was made with fondant icing, textured and then painted with edible gel colours and dusts.
I was also able to use some newly acquired writing skills following a recent calligraphy course I’ve done, and the blankie was completed with some pretty, hand painted, vintage style roses
